- Collars are the best option for small mammals like rats, mice, squirrels, etc.
- Glued options are used for the smallest species because these are the lightest possible units, or also when it is desired to recover the transmitter after an estimated period of time (less than 3 months).
For Collars there are 2 types:
- CB or CZ - Collar with Belting: Depending on the size of the animal is the width and material of the belting, which for small mammals is usually either cable zip tie (picture TXB-007CZ) or teflon belting with screw (picture TXB-005CB)
- CL - Collar with Cable: Good option when the risk of belting break is high. Stainless steel cable surrounds the neck so it works as the belting. Sample picture: TXE-120CL
For Glue options the length of time the transmitter will remain on the animal before falling off depends on the specie and type of glue used.
